The SWING 2.cx is of the "fixed head" type for printing on moving film. It is fitted on continuous packaging machines downstream of the film payoff and prints synchronously with the speed of the packaging machine. The film is passed around the print roll (complete with "encoder" device).
Installation of the SWING 2.cx is facilitated to a major extent by a standard portal support designed by Eidos which makes it possible to assemble the print unit in such a way as to permit precise, trouble-free adjustment of the thermal head in relation to the print roll.
