PRINTESS
It is an electronic printer that uses thermal transfer technology, able to encode self-adhesive labels and to apply them automatically and immediately to still or moving object (Print-Apply system).
The new generation of PRINTESS is the heir of a series of successfully used and well-tested label printers, produced in thousands and used in hundreds of different industrial applications.
It is defined as a "Labeling Robot" as it is not simply a label-printer with applicator, but a fully automated operating machine with a wide selection of application cycles, control of the single operations, diagnostics, syncronism and alarms with the production line.
The electronic unit has a 5.7" colour touchscreen graphic display, wich enables the user to see the text it is printing and makes the setting of the parameters easier and more intuitive.
The printer is available in 3 VERSIONS.

SYSTEM CONFIGURATIONS
Stand alone:
the printer can function also if not directly connected to a computer. The data is stored in non-volatile memories. New texts can be inserted in the printer bty means of a USB Memory card.
On Line:
the connection with an external processor can take place in three ways.
- serial connection type RS232 or RS422 towards PLC
- ethernet type connection by means of a cable
- wireless connection type 802-11g.

SOFTWARE TO MANAGE THE PRINTER
EASYCODE® is a powerful software designed by Eidos in a Windows environment to allow setting, memorisation, modification and printing of texts. the printer also interfaces with all the other leading label creating programs (CODESOFT®, LABELVIEW®, EASYLABEL®, NICELABEL®, BARTENDER®, BARONE®) by way of a SATO and ZEBRA type emulator.
